Adult Classes & Groups
CERTIFIED LAY SPEAKER TRAINING will be offered at Christ Community United Methodist Church this Summer. The Class will meet on 6 Wednesdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The total cost is $20 and includes all materials. Pastor B.J. Norrix will be leading and teaching this training. The course will cover the following (and other) subjects: The Ministry of the Baptized; Leadership; Ministry of caring; Communication (preaching); into Mission and Ministry. Class dates are: July 14, 21 and 28; August 11, 25, and September 1. This class is open to all persons and all ages. The Basic Lay Speaking course is a primer for future leadership training.
