Women’s Ministries Presents

A Christmas Tea Party

Each snowflake is unique...just like you!”

Saturday, December 10, 2011

11:00 am to Noon

CCUMC Fellowship Hall

Women of all ages are invited to come to a Christmas Tea Party to celebrate this wonderful Holy Season - bring your mom, daughter, grandmother, granddaughter, niece, aunt, neighbor, and friends.

Fellowship, cookies, punch, coffee, and tea will be offered along with a fun gift exchange. Bring a wrapped snowflake themed gift item ($10 limit), and if you can, bring a plate of your favorite cookies to share.

"A snowflake is one of God's most fragile creations, but look what they can do when they stick together!"

The women’s Ministries Team invites the women of the church to come together to get to know each other over a simple meal while they listen to a special message from an invited speaker. Simply Desserts featured our own Cathy Cronk who told of her passion for the children of Zimbabwe after she returned from the mission trip. Simply Apples featured local apple orchard owner Nancy Abbott who entertained us with apple facts and stories. Simply Soup brought us Judy Geyer from New Hope Family Services and gave us a chance to contribute to the need for baby clothes. Simply Music had us singing along with the Rev. Karen Bellimer. Simply American featured Rev. Mary Lou Green, membership coordinator for the League of Women Voters. Simply Dressed brought us Debbie Underwood, Director and Founder of “Dress Our People” who touched our hearts with her stories of how God is blessing that ministry. Simply Flowers found us going to Ballantyne Gardens for a talk on organic gardening. And Tastefully Simple gave us an opportunity to contribute to the Uganda Mission trip.
