Jubilee! This is a time of worship, song, and prayer for our children before their classroom time.  Suzanne Dibble and the coordinating team welcome and encourage ALL FEED BACK and suggestions from your children.  Tom Bowen joins the Jubilee as guitar master this year.

 

“Healthy Snacks” was such a huge hit last year that we continued it again this year!   PLEASE REMIND HIS/HER TEACHER IF YOUR CHILD HAS ANY FOOD ALLERGIES.  Sign up on the clipboard if you can bring a healthy snack. Juice is always welcome too.  Thanks!

Hands-On-Bible Curriculum

Pre-School Ages 3-5

Kindergarten and First Grade

 

Hands-On-bible is just that: hands-on! Kids dive in and get involved, learning to explore and engage.  Hands-On Bible is and effective Sunday School curriculum that draws children closer to Jesus and get them involved.  Teachers use real-world objects to teach Bible truths.  Kids can’t help but be drawn in because Hands-On speaks their language.  And because each lesson involves a healthy dose of discovery, children will fly out of Sunday School eager to share with their parents what they’ve learned. 

 

 

Power XPress Rotational Learning for Children

Rotation model teaching allows students to experience

Bible stories in a variety of ways and allows teachers to concentrate on their individual strengths as they lead children. The rotation model allows children to encounter each Bible story and theme in several different ways to the message will be reinforced in their memories and understanding.

 

Some of the rotations will be:

· Jesus and the Children

· Jesus in the Temple

· Jesus is Baptized

· Jesus at the Synagogue, and others.

 

Fifth Grade

Live B.I.G. (Belief In God)

Common Ground Café

What is Live B.I.G.?

· It focuses on “Living Your Belief in God” based on bible-based lessons that are DVD-enhanced to engage our children as they learn about God and discuss ways to live into life situations. Along the way they will meet (through the DVD) Will, Kayla, Becca, Ty and Clay.

· Live B.I.G. is living your love of God every day with your mind learning all your can, telling all you can, and doing all you can!

 

Sixth Grade

Pre-Confirmation Adventures for Tweens

Tweens in transition prepares students in this transitional phase for service, ministry and worship as church members.

· Tweens will explore key biblical principles, basics of faith, connect bible to practical life issues, spark critical thinking and start serious discussions

· We’ll use drama and seasonal themes.

· We’ll enjoy a weekly magazine called “Faith Zone”

 

Junior High, 7th & 8th Grades

· Students start the year by writing a creed and then form questions to explore faith based on this creed.

· Youth are actively involved in class materials and interaction.

· Class is discussion-based with time to search scripture, prayer, journaling and personal reflection to grow in faith.

 

Senior High

9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Grades

Amazing Bible Race

Join our Senior High Youth as they begin a year long thrilling scavenger hunt adventure that brings to life biblical characters. Stories, events and messages we have come to love and live by.

 

· Youth read through the Bible in its entirety over the course of six to twelve weeks, with each chapter read, the Amazing Bible Race builds knowledge, holy habits and faith.
