Simply Soup: There were 29 women that challenged the CNY Lake Effect weather on Tuesday, December 4 to gather together for soup, bread, and fellowship and to hear Judy Geyer, an excellent speaker, present a clear vision of New Hope Family Services. The soups were tasty, the bread was warm, the fellowship special, and the cookies bountiful! Randa and Rachel of the Women's Ministries Team would like to thank everyone who came and an extra thank you to those who were able to stay to help clean up! Also the Women’s Ministries Team is grateful to Judy Geyer of New Hope Family Services for taking time from her busy schedule to be a part of this very special evening, to Wegmans for their donation to the success of the evening, to the women who made the wonderful soups, to Nancy Karins for her decorating assistance, to Lois Peery for her soup bowls and of course, to all the cookie bakers. Very special appreciation goes to Heather Claver for designing the Women’s Ministries newsletter, Simply News. Scroll down for pictures from the Simply Soup Event. |

The Women’s Ministries’ team is encouraging each of you to consider a small group—because there is a need for women to have opportunities to get to know each other, and to grow in Christ alongside your sisters in Christ. Small groups are opportunities to serve each other in ministry and serve others outside of the church in mission. Small groups are occasions to use your gifts and talents to serve Christ; and to get to know each other in a personal, spiritual way.

« Bible Study – Living a Life of Balance Many of us yearn for balance in our lives - that precise alignment which will leave all our daily responsibilities in perfect harmony. As Christians we aren't just balancing our household schedules with work, diet, rest, and exercises, we must also consider the spiritual balance of our lives. How are we handling the balance between faith and sight, between love and obedience, between longing and contentment? Only God can guide us toward the balance we desire, and it starts with our hearts. This 12 week study will help us get there.
